Who Are We

The Merseyside Sudanese Community Association (MSCA) was founded with a mission to unite and support the Sudanese diaspora in Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Over the years, we have grown to become a hub of cultural exchange, social support, and empowerment for individuals of all backgrounds.

Our Strength

We welcome everyone in the Merseyside area seeking cultural connection and support, embracing the diversity that enriches our community. Like the many ways to say “hello” in Sudan, displayed in the word cloud above, our community reflects a variety of languages, backgrounds, and traditions. We proudly serve those who share our vision and values, offering services designed to strengthen our communal bonds and ensure each person feels welcomed and valued.

Inspired by Sudan’s vibrant heritage, represented in the diversity of greetings above, we are dedicated to fostering unity and empowerment among our members. Our core values — inclusion, respect, and cultural celebration — guide us in building a community where each voice contributes to a supportive network. We aim to create spaces for meaningful interaction, learning, and shared experiences, uplifting all who join us.
